The company name and vision was formed when I decided to leave news production and an on-call lifestyle behind. When I realized there was more to learn about this industry rather than chasing spot news. I took a chance out on my own; then created and produced "Southern Saltwater" a local 30 min saltwater fishing show that went national in its second year. Shooting on a boat 3-4 days a week was interesting work. Every day was alearning experince and was like shooting my own National Geogrpahic documentary. You had to be ready at all times, because you never knew when you were going to catch a fish. It was like going from a dead sleep to running a marathon.
Digital South Television Productions, Inc began in 2004 out of my house on 38th ave. Myrtle Beach. I saw a need in the local market for quality high-end commercials for businesses. The company took off as I began a tourism project in St Maarten, in the Eastern Caribbean, called Island TV Guide
